The radiator for the DX 360 MAX follows a straightforward design, with its main distinction being its thicker build at 38 mm compared to the typical 27 mm. Essentially, it's a simple black box with a fins-per-inch (FPI) count of 20, which is standard for most liquid coolers, as 20-21 FPI is typical. ID-Cooling chose black fittings for the tubing and added nylon sleeving for a sleeker look. The tubing measures 465 mm in length. Overall, the design is clean and understated, with no flashy features.
The pump is a Gen 7 offering that has been developed with a higher maximum speed of 2900 RPM and utilizes a three-phase six-pole motor according to ID-Cooling. Looking at the tubing, it is attached to the pump via swivel fittings while the wiring is placed in between. I prefer the wiring to be off to the side away from the tubing whenever possible, however, in this case due to the amount of space between the fittings it's not a huge deal as it will not affect overall range of motion. As for the base it's a slightly convex copper cold plate with no real marks or imperfections to be seen. In regard to the ARGB lighting the pump top has a similar appearance to grill lines that are of course fully illuminated. It is not as flashy as some may like, but it is a nice balance without being to over the top. Also, if you happen to dislike ARGB lighting period, the design ends up being black and white which adds a nice touch of contrast while fitting most build themes.
When it comes to fans ID-Cooling is using their DF-125-K PWM model which has a PWM RPM range of 0-2150 and a max airflow of 85 CFM. The fans are simple and clean with no ARGB lighting anywhere to speak of.
