Everest Ultimate

Everest is great for quick diagnostic of computer components and for checking some of the CPU's basic synthetic performance, as well as memory bandwidth and latency. Everest Ultimate version 530 is used to check the Memory Read/Write/Copy/Latency performance.

Remember when we talked about using older and non-integrated memory controller with Clarkdale processor cores? Well. check out the memory performance of this setup, and remember, all CPU cores are based on the same architecture as Core i7 750 but memory performance is nowhere near Lynnfield and latency is worse than with older Core 2 Quad models. This really is not the ideal solution for a processor architecture that is designed to work with very low memory latencies.
