We could not help but feel that Intel had trouble deciding on whether they wanted the box to appeal to gamers or professionals. The board is absolutely massive though.
Despite being such a unique product, the Intel slogan is always there. The special LGA771 chips were developed specifically for this board, the QX9775s.
We went for a test bench enclosure due to the massive size, with 2x EK-XLC Predator 360s for cooling. Skulltrail was possibly the only system that truly benefited from liquid cooling the RAM and chips on the board itself.
