Efficiency is the highest possible, 80 Plus Platinum, and the unit can deliver its full power continuously up to 50°C. The available protections are few and only the basic ones are provided while the cooling fan uses ball bearings so its lifespan will be increased compared to a sleeve bearings one. The depth of the PSU is longer than average (160mm) something that partially is justified by the 1KW capacity, however there are units nowadays with even higher capacities and only 160mm depth. The weight is significant since large heatsinks are used in the internals, to allow the semi-fanless operation at lower loads. The warranty is sufficient at five years and the price is very good for a PSU with these characteristics. However in Europe the Super Flower Golden King 1000W, which in essence is exactly the same unit with different badges, can be found in an even lower price.

There is only one, powerful, +12V rail which can output the full unit's power, something very convenient in contemporary PC systems that heavily utilize +12V. The minor rails are restricted to 100W, however you are not going to need more power from these two rails. On the contrary we would like to see a stronger 5VSB rail, since 2.5A are the minimum allowed power for this rail nowadays.

The total provided PCIe connectors are six and they are available at the same time along with the two EPS connectors. Also the number of SATA and peripheral connectors is sufficient for the capacity of the unit. The length of the 24 pin ATX connector would be ideal with 50mm more while the modular PCIe cables are kind of short at only 500mm. We would like them to have at least 600mm length. The distance among the connectors, in cables that have more than one of course, is 20mm less than the 150mm of length that ATX spec recommends.
The fixed cables are fully sleeved and use thicker 16AWG wires for decreased voltage drops while the modular cables use flat ribbon wires of 18AWG size, something that will make cable management a breeze.
Since this PSU features a single +12V rail we do not have anything to comment about its power distribution.
