Lian Li DK-02X Review

A Closer Look - Inside - ATX

Looks are very similar on the ATX side, but this portion of the desk naturally occupies a bit more space within the drawer. With its expansion slots facing toward the back of the table, the board's layout is the same as on the ITX side.

The PSU bay has been placed right next to the ITX system's bay, and the 120 mm exhaust fans are to the right of it, which results in a fairly traditional layout if you were to transpose it into a classic mid-tower chassis.

There is also another dust filter for up to two 120 mm fans in the front. We will be installing the ATX system's liquid-cooling unit during the assembly portion of this review into this position.

As with the left side, the right edge holds three fans that are protected by a dust filter. As this area mirrors the left, you will find hard-drive bays here as well. The only difference is the total number of trays available; Lian Li placed nine of them onto this side of the drawer.

The ATX system's cables are identical to those of the ITX one, which comes as no surprise as both have the same I/O in the front.
