Packaging

The A4-H2O ships in a plain brown cardboard box with not much else but the model name and company branding on it, as well as a mention of the color variant within. On top of that, there are two functional variants, with the cheaper $120 MSRP model offering PCIe 3.0, and the $155 trim including a PCIe 4.0 riser cable.

Two Styrofoam spacers hold the chassis in place, while a plastic bag further protects it from scratches and fingerprints during packing and shipping.

You won't get much with the case at all, and as we will see later on, there is really no need for much anyway. A few screws and zip ties are all there is to be found in terms of accessories. Our sample does not contain a manual, but Lian Li has told us that they will include it in the retail offerings. This is good news, as cases like these tend to have unique elements or installation steps, so you may want quick access instead of having to go the digital route by opening it up as a PDF on your phone.
