Introduction

Logitech Logo

Logitech is a Swiss-based computer peripherals and software company founded in 1981. Close to three years after the original Pro X Superlight, Logitech G (or Logitech for short) presents a thorough update with the Pro X Superlight 2. The Pro X Superlight 2 utilizes Logitech's latest HERO 2 sensor capable of 44,000 CPI, which now allows for manual lift-off distance adjustment. For the main buttons, optical-mechanical "Lightforce" switches are used, whose main novelty is their impossibility to inadvertently double-click due to wear and tear over time. Furthermore, when using the latest firmware, the Pro X Superlight 2 is capable of true 8000 Hz wireless polling out of the box, lowering latency even further compared to the regular 1000 Hz polling of the Pro X Superlight. Battery life will depend on polling rate and switch configuration, with roughly 100 hours expected at 1000 Hz, roughly 60 hours at 2000 Hz, roughly 40 hours at 4000 Hz, and roughly 20 hours at 8000 Hz. In addition, the weight has been lowered slightly to 58 g, and USB Type-C charging is now present. Much like the Pro X Superlight, the Pro X Superlight 2 is compatible with Logitech Powerplay. RGB lighting continues to be absent, but G HUB allows customizing everything else. The Pro X Superlight 2 is available in black, white, or pink.
