Packaging

Companies sometimes just get their packaging right, and Logitech has managed to do so with the G900 Chaos Spectrum box. Yeah, I know, it's just a box, but this is the first impression you get of the mouse and doing it right is very important. The front of the box is very simple, the brand and name of the mouse with a very nice image of it on it.


The rear of the box gives us a little bit of an insight into the product, showing us its Pixart PWM3366 and mentioning a 1ms polling rate in both wired and wireless mode and that it can be used by left-handed people just as easily as by right-handed people.


So far, what you have seen is just a sleeve that slides over the actual protective box; again, sliding the sleeve off starts to make you feel a little excited about what is inside.


This is where the design of the packaging really does stand out from most of their competitors - the insides just feel premium. The low-poly art style packaging out of plastic is a really nice touch and gives it a modern feel, and the way you see the mouse by itself before getting to any of the accessories is nice also.

Inside the box are the mouse, the manual, a charging/data cable, extra buttons and blanking plates for the side, and the USB dongle.
