- Great build quality
- Competitive & consistent performance
- Quick installation
- Silent operation
- Good ventilation design
- Small power adapter
- Simple design that looks great
- No drivers needed in Windows XP or later
- eSATA bracket not included
- USB and eSATA cables are short
- Not tool-less
- Temperatures might be on the warm side for some
Overall this enclosure was a pleasure to test and work with. It looks great and is very light because of the aluminum construction. The build quality and overall design are excellent. The performance is great especially considering the price. While the ventilation is good and the heat dissipation design seems to accomplish its purpose it is heavily dependent on the ambient temperatures since it is not actively cooled. On the plus side it is absolutely silent and will not fail those expecting just that.
