MCHOSE AX5 Pro Max Review

Shape

The shape of the AX5 Pro Max is best described as a uniformly sized-down Logitech G Pro X Superlight. Neither the front nor back flare out much, the sides curve in barely at all, and the hump is centered and only moderately pronounced, sloping down gradually towards both ends. Much like on the GPX, the main buttons are framed by ledges, and the CPI button isn't found at the top but rather the bottom, allowing for the same main button design as the GPX, including the lack of comfort grooves. The only significant difference between the two is the hump being relatively less pronounced on the AX5 Pro Max, resulting in a slightly flatter profile by comparison. On a visual level, the most notable difference is the presence of large triangular-shaped holes across the back and bottom part of the main buttons, along with the bottom. Overall, a neutral and agreeable design.

As for grip styles, I'd say the AX5 Pro Max is generally suited for all three main grip styles: palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It is a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, which should make it generally suit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the AX5 Pro Max very comfortable in claw grip.
