  • Perfect ergonomics
  • Perfect sensor for low to medium sensitivity gamers
  • Good mat compatibility
  • Brilliant buttons
  • Good driver suite
  • Good tracking at high DPI settings
  • Some mat compatibility issues are to be expected
Mionix was right to implement the ADNS-3310 in their high-end gaming mice. This sensor is the one to beat for hardcore gaming, and the performance gains it brings to the table are well worth the trouble of dealing with limited mat compatibility. Both the AVIOR's and NAOS's shape and performance are topnotch, and that within their own high-end category. The new sensor provides the option to track at high speeds and its DPI settings come without the dreaded positive acceleration issues that impair the performance of ADNS-9x00-powered mice somewhat, although the 8200 version may be a better choice if you run incredibly high sensitivities as its tracking is perhaps a bit more stable at such high DPI. As for FPS gamers looking for the ultimate low- to mid-sensitivity mouse: These mice might just be it.
