The S1s turned out to be a phenomenal set of budget in-ears. They have a sound signature that is perfect for most types of music and seem durable enough to handle a daily beating. You get a great bundle with these in-ears, and while getting a good fit is not super easy, it is totally doable if you work with the different tips.
The sound quality is just amazing for $60 as you get a set of in-ears that could have run you around $200 a year ago. They are somewhat bassy, have a good sound stage, and are quite detailed at the same time. They are not edgy or dry sounding like many of the HiFiMAN in-ears, which is an advantage if you listen to a lot of modern music.
