Finished Looks
The MSI MPG CORELIQUID K240 is rather pleasing visually. At the same time, the pump feels quite large because of the many features, and the cover blends in quite well with numerous motherboard designs, while the ability to customize the logo was fun to mess around with. Other than that, the high contrast fan design should fit in well with many builds even if you are not a fan of ARGB lighting.
As for memory and graphics card clearance, there were no issues on either platform.
The ARGB lighting is quite good, with color being uniform when static is selected. My only issue is that selecting red doesn't make for a good red hue. Instead, it is more orange or lavender. However, that is due to the software, which doesn't offer free control. Instead, it has blocks of color to pick from. When set to other modes, it would give me a deep and uniform red color. This leads me to believe the software needs some tweaking when it comes to setting custom static colors.
As for the LCD on the pump, adding various images was quite fun. Of course, I had to add the TPU logo to see how it looks. While the display works, the colors are slightly muted, and it is limited to 320 x 240 BMP files. Still, it is an interesting inclusion even if it doesn't add any performance. That said, better still would have been the ability to handle GIF files for a bit of animated fun. I would have added some lighting bolts behind the logo if that were the case. Ah well, it's something they can work towards later, I suppose.
