Overclocking
Overclocking AMD Ryzen CPUs with blunt voltage isn't ideal as AMD's built-in Precision Boost (PBO) and/or undervolting can lead to better benchmark scores. However, the tried and true old-school method of raising the CPU multiplier along with the voltage works here as well. Getting the Ryzen 9 3900X to an all-core overclock of 4.3 GHz was as easy as one could ask for. It is still 50 MHz short from the highest bootable overclock this chip has done so far, but still within reason. Using the motherboard's auto settings for PWM frequency and Load-Line Calibration worked well, which can be a big hit or miss for many motherboards when it comes to manual overclocking.
