F1 2017 is this season's release of the yearly Formula One circus. Codemasters engine has seen various small improvements over the years, but it's largely unchanged compared to the 2016 iteration with most changes revolving around cars, teams, and drivers. Components (like engine and gearbox) will show wear throughout the season, and your supply is limited, just like in a real Formula 1 campaign.
The EGO Engine 4.0 takes advantage of modern graphics hardware since it comes with high-resolution textures and plenty of shader effects.
