A single look at the product box was enough to tell me this is a NETGEAR Orbi product, especially given the familiar white with blue accents used throughout. Indeed, the design is so similar to previous-generation Orbi product boxes that it's a good thing NETGEAR put WiFi 6 on the front right away. It is on the sides that we see a render of the actual product inside, showing this is a triple pack consisting of a router with two satellites. There are plenty of marketing features and technical specifications listed all around the box, and in multiple languages, too. This is followed by a reminder to download the Orbi mobile app for setup and customization of the WiFi system, and we then see the box opens up via a single flap on the side to reveal the contents inside. These include paperwork in the form of a quick start guide (online copy here), but you may be interested in the full user manua which comes in at a whopping 142 pages.

Underneath the paperwork are two cardboard boxes, with the smaller of the two holding the various accessories included with this Orbi WiFi system. Given it is not an Orbi Pro product, no wall mount installation kits are provided. Instead, this box comes with the power adapters neatly packed for each of the three units. I have the EU version, meaning I got separate power adapters for the router and satellite, but also different wall plugs for the UK and most of mainland Europe. These are white to match the router and satellite units, and can output a whopping 42 W each.

Last and certainly not least in the accessory section is a flat Ethernet cable of two meters, which allows for a decent amount of room for cable management along a wall if needed. It feeds the internet signal from your modem or gateway to the Orbi router and is terminated in a standard RJ45 connector on either end. The cable is compatible with the 1 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports on the three units. The AWM style, 32 AWG 2854 hook-up wire in the cable has reliably been used by other industries for harsher applications, so I am confident this cables will work just fine, especially considering we got the same cable on the Orbi RBK50, LBR20, and Orbi Pro SXK80. What I would have liked, however, are more of these cables for all the available LAN ports on the router and satellite units.

The larger of the two boxes is shaped with a convenient carry handle integrated into the cardboard, and it opens up from either side to reveal the three units placed sideways inside their own individual compartments. These come individually wrapped in plastic as well, and with helpful identification tags clarifying which ones are the satellite units and which the router itself. Note the sticker on the wrap over the router that has a QR code handy for setup, as well as the SSID login credentials for first-time use.
