Finished Looks

My love and hate relationship with Noctua's color scheme means I really don't know what to think here. While it is unique to them and shows you have quality product, it just doesn't look attractive. The brown and tan fan stands out like a sore thumb, and the bare aluminium is as always a fingerprint magnet. That said, in a 4U rackmount server, the color won't matter. So if your chassis doesn't have a window, you can breathe a sigh of relief knowing you got a top-tier quality cooler in your rig. On the other hand, if your chassis does have a window and you are able to see the cooler, I really hope you like Noctua's wonderful brown and tan color scheme.

In regards to memory or graphics card clearance, I found no problems with the NH-D12L out of the box. If you opt to run a dual-fan setup, you will likely run into clearance issues when it comes to system memory, and it may affect case compatibility as well, which is something to keep in mind. Still, in its stock configuration, everything is perfect with no issues to report.
