PCB Analysis
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is based on the same exact PCB as the GTX 1070 Founders Edition, but comes with an additional GPU power phase.
The UPI uP9511P voltage controller handles GPU voltage. The chip is driving five On Semi NTMFD4C85NT3G phases through five TI LM53603AMPWPT converters.
The single-phase memory VRM is powered by a no-name buck controller.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Micron and carry the model number D9TQB. They are specified to run at 2000 MHz (8000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
NVIDIA's GP104 graphics processor is the first consumer chip using the Pascal architecture. It is produced on a 16 nm process at TSMC, Taiwan, with a transistor count of 7.1 billion and a die size of 314 mm².
