Just a slab of metal with a fan strapped to it, the GPU's low heat output allows NVIDIA to use a really simple heatsink.
The card does not require any external PCI-Express power connector as all power (up to 75 W) is supplied via the PCI-Express slot.
The voltage controller NVIDIA chose is an NCP81172. I couldn't find any information about it online.
The GDDR5 memory chips are made by Hynix and carry the model number H5GC4H24MFR-T2C. They are specified to run at 1250 MHz (5000 MHz GDDR5 effective).
NVIDIA's GM107 graphics processor introduces the company's Maxwell architecture. Manufactured at TSMC in Taiwan, it is produced on a 28 nm process. The transistor count is 1.87 billion.
