Packaging
Phanteks ships the Eclipse G500A Performance in a brown cardboard box with the name of the case on the front and an outlined interior shot on the back. Both smaller sides continue that design, with a QR code on one side and a sticker mentioning the color of the case on the other.
The chassis itself is protected extremely well with cardboard reinforced foam spacers, and a cloth bag of the same color further protects it from scratches and dents during shipping.
Contents
Inside another well-branded cardboard box held in place by a reusable Velcro strip, you will find the Phanteks signature box with sorted screws, as well as a basic, well-written assembly guide and warranty information pamphlet.
You will also get two separately packaged hard-drive cages that may be used for both 3.5" and 2.5" drives. You may stack these, with a tension clip holding them together firmly. On top of that, Phanteks includes a metal piece that is meant to keep the GPU from sagging; as we will see further on, it is fairly unique. A plastic base for vertical GPU-mounting hardware and several zip ties are included as well.
