Finished Looks
Air Boost Configuration
Not forgetting the "air boost" configuration, the general look and feel is the same, but naturally noticeably more compact overall. Even with the 30 mm thickness of the T30 fans, there are no issues with this type of configuration.
In the rear, the small spacer fills the added gap perfectly, and everything else looks as expected as well.
In this configuration, the Phanteks Evolv Shift XT provides a 45 mm gap through which the components can pull fresh air on either side of the chassis.
Liquid Cooled Configuration
For the finale, going back to the "liquid cooled" configuration, as soon as you turn the system on, the infinity mirror ARGB effect in the front makes you pause for a second. It just looks really unique and fits the case quite well. The embedded effect makes it feel like you are looking into a deep hole with the colors at the edges always changing. In the rear, all the connectors are easily accessible, and the bottom-mounted PSU lead will help keep the cable mess on your desk to a minimum as well.
In the tallest, "liquid cooled" configuration, you can take a peek inside the system through the metal mesh that covers the gap between the two silver shell elements. Overall, there is a 70 mm metal-mesh-equipped opening in this setup. On the main side is the GPU, while the opposite gives you a glimpse of the ARGB-equipped memory and infinity mirror cover on the Phanteks AIO pump.
Looking at the top, the two Halo frames fit perfectly within the Phanteks Shift XT on top of the classic AIO. This means you could buy these in retail, employ them on any 240 mm unit, and connect them seamlessly to the embedded ARGB controller. Speaking of which, just like other Phanteks cases with this feature, you may cycle through a slew of single or multi-color animations. On top of that, it also offers one of the the widest range of solid color choices on the market, which you may feast your eyes upon below.
