Founded in 2020, Pulsar is a gaming peripherals company based in Korea. Complimentary to the regular Xlite V3, Pulsar also offers the Xlite V3 eS. The "eS" acronym stands for "eSports," as the Xlite V3 eS has been conceived specifically to meet the standards of eSports. To that end, the Xlite V3 eS does without software configuration, and instead allows configuration directly on the device through an OLED display and an additional button on the bottom. While the Xlite V3 eS utilizes the same Pulsar Blue encoder also found on the non-eS, an aluminium alloy wheel is used, which should prove more durable than the regular plastic wheel. The Xlite V3 eS also comes with a larger 500 mAh battery, promising up to 100 hours of battery life. Due to these changes, alongside the fact that the Xlite V3 eS doesn't utilize an open-bottom design, at 65 g it weighs roughly 10 g more than the Xlite V3 non-eS. While the Xlite V3 non-eS requires an additional 4K Wireless Dongle to become capable of polling rates of 2000 and 4000 Hz in wireless operation, the Xlite V3 eS supports these right out of the box, and in wired mode, even 8000 Hz is possible. Much like on the Xlite V3 non-eS, PixArt's PAW3395 capable of 26,000 CPI is used, but has been restricted to a maximum step of 12,800 CPI, and the main buttons have been outfitted with optical switches from RAESHA, which by design are immune to developing double-clicking due to wear and tear over time. In terms of size, the Xlite V3 eS is solely available as Medium (Size 2), and the available colors are black or white.
