QNAP TS-451+ & QTS 4.2 Review

We used a CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter, installed 50 cm away from the NAS, for these measurements. Ambient noise in our lab was below 30 dBA while these noise measurements were taken.
Our equipment measured a little more output noise than with the TS-451. Set to smart-fan mode, the fan was very low, though, since it spun at low speeds.
