Plenty of cube cases out there offer Mini-ITX compatibility in combination with fully sized components. Take mATX, however, and the number of such cases shrinks considerably. Of those, the Raidmax Hyperion is actually one of the smaller units out there even though its feature set is pretty interesting.
Right out of the box, it comes equipped with three fans, offers the ability to install numerous hard drives, and incorporates a plate just for liquid cooling, while also making the most of its internal space. All while giving the user the choice of installing a 5.25" optical drive bay.
Installation bears no surprises, but it does feel a bit like playing chess. Only think ahead one step at a time and you will inevitably find it frustrating, but go through all the steps beforehand and you will come out victorious even if you fill the Raidmax Hyperion to the rim with pretty potent hardware while making the most of its cooling capabilities, and considering it comes in four different colors and at a very competitive price point of 60 euro, it is hard not to love this compact chassis.
