Raijintek Forkis Pro RBW CPU Water Block Review

Packaging and Accessories

The Raijintek Forkis Pro RBW CPU block came as part of a watercooling kit that I agreed to take on simply to be able to do individual product reviews. As such, please note that the standalone product may come with other accessories. In particular, there may or may not be a control box for the RGB LEDs in the box, but I understand that what I have here will be what most customers will be getting. This is further evident from the product packaging that shows a sticker on the front allowing Raijintek to use it for either of the two Forkis series CPU blocks and the LGA 1700 tag also indicates this is a recent update, to ensure the block will work with newer Intel CPUs. Side flaps keep the contents inside in place during transit and opening the box shows a bunch of different accessory sets on top of the block itself.

The CPU block comes inside a plastic wrap for a pristine and dust-free unboxing experience. Raijintek does not go with socket-specific blocks here—far from it, given it supports both Intel and AMD CPUs from a long time ago all the way to the present. There are also printed instructions here, including a separate note about LGA 1700 support, to further cement the block's appeal to those who want wider CPU compatibility. Do note that AMD Socket AM5 support isn't explicitly mentioned, but logic dictates it should work fine there too. As for Intel, we get a plastic socket backplate with re-sizable corner threads depending on the CPU socket being cooled.

Given the flexible CPU compatibility of offer here, we get also an AMD mounting bracket in the box with the associated AMD installation hardware too. There are then socket-specific mounting pieces, which thankfully come labelled, along a tiny wrench, a sachet of thermal paste and even a plastic spreader tool for the paste! The various mounting gear is quite typical in the form of metal locking screws, stand-offs, and springs, as well as plastic washers which we will go over in the installation section later on in this review.
