Packaging

Aside from the mouse, one finds a USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable, full-speed wireless dongle, wireless extender, quick start guide, and a set of stickers in the sturdy box.

Weight

My scale shows around 113 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly higher than the weight cited by Razer. For comparison, the similarly sized ASUS ROG Chakram X weighs 128 g, while the ROCCAT Kone XP Air weighs 98 g. Compared to the Basilisk Ultimate, the V3 Pro weighs 6 g more. A decent weight overall.

Cable

The Basilisk V3 Pro comes with a flexible, braided USB Type-A to Type-C charging cable. There is no anchor at the mouse-end of the cable, so the cable may come loose during use, though it is unlikely given how firm the connection is. In terms of flexibility, this one isn't quite on the level of the recent ASUS ROG or Glorious charging cables, but is significantly improved over previous, stiffer Razer charging cables. Accordingly, the Basilisk V3 Pro can be used as if it were a wired mouse with barely if any perceivable difference in terms of handling compared to an exclusively wired mouse. Since the cable supports the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle, shielding equivalent to that of a high-speed wired mouse is present. The cable is 1.80 m long.

The charging cable also functions as an extension cable when used with the wireless extender. The wireless extender can be used to keep the distance between dongle and mouse as short as possible. A storage compartment for the dongle is found on the underside of the mouse.

Feet

The feet on the Basilisk V3 Pro are non-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with slightly rounded edges. Glide is excellent and thickness average. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stay consistent upon applying vertical pressure.

Mouse Dock Pro

The Mouse Dock Pro has two main functions. First, it comes with the functionality of the HyperPolling Wireless Dongle integrated, enabling a polling rate of up to 4000 Hz in 2.4 GHz wireless operation. Second, the Mouse Dock Pro serves as a charging dock. To that end, the Mouse Dock Pro utilizes induction without any direct contacts. The Mouse Dock Pro has a puck included which replaces the one installed on the Basilisk V3 Pro by default. The mouse then magnetically attaches to the dock, and the RGB lighting can be configured such that it displays the current battery level, though this requires the mouse to be turned on in 2.4 GHz wireless mode. Furthermore, the RGB lighting will continue to be on even after the PC has been shut down. The Mouse Dock Pro is compatible with both the Basilisk V3 Pro and Naga V2 Pro, and available for $69.99.
