Packaging

The box contains the mouse sitting in a plastic tray along with the wireless dongle, wireless receiver, an extension cable, and a quick start guide.

Weight

My scale shows around 105 g (+/- 1 g), which is exactly in line with the weight cited by ROCCAT. 105 g is an above average weight, but considering both the amount of engineering that went into the Kain 200 and the fact that it's wireless, it's a fairly competitive weight. For comparison: the Logitech G703, which is the wireless mouse most similar to the Kain 200, weighs around 95 g.

Wireless receiver

The included cable serves two purposes. One, it is used to connect the wireless receiver to the PC. Two, it can be connected directly to the mouse for charging. It is also possible to use the Kain 200 as a wired mouse that way, although cable stiffness makes this less desirable. The flexibility of the cable is roughly comparable to that of the wired Kain 120. The cable lacking an anchor to secure the connector means it may come loose during play. Cable length is 1.80 m (measured).

Feet

The feet on the Kain 200 are standard black-dyed PTFE (Teflon) feet with rounded edges. They may look regular, but the glide is excellent. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stays consistent upon applying vertical pressure.
