The Package

The Rosewill EX-500 and EX-700 each ship in fairly compact cardboard boxes with clear images of the headphones on front and the specifications as well as an additional image on the back.

You may also flip open the flap on these boxes to take a look at the in-ears, with some additional information about sound attributes and an educational graph that lets you know how the treble-enhancing ear tips work.

The Contents

Both in-ear variants come with the same set of tips in addition to the traditional medium-sized ones that are already pre-applied. You will find S, M, and L treble-enhancing ones and the remaining normal S and L variants embedded in a foam block. A basic but quite robust pouch is also included so that you may carry your EX-500 or EX-700 with you without having to worry about a bit of a cable mess or them getting damaged.

Two very basic manuals are also found within the package. These are actually visible from the outside of the package, through the window, which is not really sexy. Overall, the only interesting bits of information pertain to the functionality of the embedded microphone and its mandatory safety instructions, which means that Rosewill could just include a tiny flyer instead.
