Assembly
Installing two SATA drives in the Rosewill R2-Raid enclosure is very easy. First, four small screws need to be removed from the back panel. The entire internal assembly can then slide out the rear of the case. Note the four DIP switches and small reset button along one end of the PCB, as well as the three LEDs on the front end of the rail assembly.
The SATA power and data connections are soldered onto the PCB. The user only needs to slide the drive into the rails, making sure to align the connections and seat them completely. Then, four silver screws are used to secure each drive to the rail assembly.
The completed unit should then be inserted into the housing and the four small screws added and secured. The entire unit fits snugly into the black base.
