These headphones prove that it is possible to create a set of supra-aural headphones that perform and look great without costing a lot of money. The headphones are super light and, because of their light weight, very comfortable to wear, which is equally important as the sound quality. The sound quality is way above what you would expect from a set of stylish $30 headphones. You usually have to pick in-between comfort or good sound with low-budget headphones, but the RHTS-11004 manages to combine both. Of course, there are limits to the RHTS-11004 design. The bass, for one, is not superb, but it is definitely competitive, price considered. For people who listen to a mix of different types of music, these headphones have a good blend of bass, midrange, and treble. The upper midrange is not sibilant sounding and the tonality is slightly warm which is perfect for a set of supra-aural portable headphones that will rarely see a high-end source or ideal listening environment.
