User Experience

Since the Titan chair is recommended for users who are approximately 74-195 cm (5'7"-6'41") tall, we first asked a tall person of 183 cm (6") to give us his feedback, and he told us that the seat's base reaches under a tall person's knees, supporting these. This means long legs will not tire out since they are level with the pelvis area and won't stick out past the front with no support. The absence of a backrest cushion does play a major part in this as well since more of the seat's base can be utilized. Also, the chair's height-adjustment options cater to both tall and short people well.

The three different users who tried this chair out extensively found its cushioning to be hard, especially on the seat's base. What matters the most, though, is how comfortable this chair is after prolonged periods of use and whether it properly supports one's body and lasts a while. While users who prefer harder cushioning most likely are aware of the support and stability such chairs offers over the years, most potential buyers would probably prefer softer cushioning instead.

The levers are in an awkward position for even a tall person. They are situated towards the front of the seat's base, which makes them hard to reach. Once a hand reaches out for a lever, it subconsciously moves in a straight line parallel to one's shoulders, which makes levers towards the back of a seat a more reasonable option.

This chair's integrated, adjustable lumbar-support system allows users to adjust said support to one's own preferences. One can feel the center of the backrest move in and out when the knob is turned, which makes conducting such adjustments feasible and easy.

The head cushion is wide and soft, and even shorter people will find it useful, which makes it an integral part of the Titan.

The armrests are wider than others and comfortable, but as the seat's base, we found them to be rather hard. Moreover, it is difficult to adjust them. While pressing each button, one needs to apply a lot of force, and you do somewhat have to anticipate the result. It feels as though something is stuck or that the armrests need some grease in order to move to where you would like them to be readily.

Accessories

A velvet velour cushion made out of soft-stretch cotton is included for your head, and there are a bunch of accessories to be had over at Secretlab's website. Other than some general accessories with the company's name and logo, we came across three cushions, two caster wheel options, a set of 4D armrests, and a choice between two different tilt-mechanism options (the full-tilt mechanism for control over the tilt's tension and a multi-tilt mechanism like the one our Titan chair has) as well as a class-4 gas lift and a cleaning spray for premium PU upholstery.
