Finished Looks
The APEX 240 stands out quite a bit on the test bench due to the highly contrasting white and black fans. Once the ARGB LEDs are on, it stands out even more. That said, with the LEDs off, it is not a bad looking unit, but you can definitely tell it's tailored to deliver maximum RGB goodness.
As is the case with most liquid coolers, the Sharkhan APEX 240 offers perfect clearance for both system memory and graphics cards on our test bench.
The ARGB LED illumination of APEX 240 is quite nice, with control via the motherboard working fairly seamlessly as there were no major hiccups, and all the various lighting modes worked as well. That having been said, there was some LED flicker in the red color range when changing between colors. However, it was only noticeable when transitioning, as shown in the video. Hard static color changes or rainbow modes didn't exhibit this behavior.
