Sharkoon TG7M RGB Review

Packaging

Sharkoon ships the TG7M RGB in a black and white box. Unfortunately, DHL had it sitting in a damp warehouse for a hot minute, so they had to tape up the bottom for structural integrity. Both larger panels have an image of the chassis, while the smaller ones list specifications in multiple languages. There are no carrying holes, but the package is compact enough to lift regardless.

While the case is held in place by traditional Styrofoam, Sharkoon has gone the extra mile to employ a black, branded cloth bag as an added layer of protection, which also improves the unboxing experience.

Contents

You will receive a pretty good set of extras for a mainstream chassis consisting of a unique vertical panel and the usual mounting bits and pieces. On top of that, there is a 3-way PWM fan splitter cable, some zip ties, and additional Velcro strips. A functional manual and sticker sheet for your enjoyment round out the accessories.

On top of that, Sharkoon sent us the vertical GPU mounting kit specifically for this chassis. It ships in a white cardboard box and is further protected by an anti-static bag. Along with the fairly long PCIe 3.0 ribbon cable, the kit also contains all the necessary mounting hardware and assembly instructions for the TG6M and Elite Shark series.
