Installation

Installing the SilverStone Argon AR11 is incredibly easy. First, apply some thermal paste. Once done, position the heatsink on the CPU. I will mention now that I found the heatsink to need a bit more thermal paste than normal due to the direct-touch nature of the base. I would recommend spreading the paste manually for the best coverage and to eliminate any air gaps for the best-possible performance.

Next, prepare the hex nuts by putting the spacers on and using said hex nuts to secure the cooler to the motherboard. That is all there is to it. The heatsink is now firmly installed; all that remains is to take care of the fan.

The fan SilverStone provides will come pre-attached, so you will not need to install the fan as I did here, meaning all that potential buyers will need to do is plug the fan into the CPU fan header. With that done, you are good to go.

To be blunt, this is the easiest cooler I have ever installed, and as such, I would rate its installation a 10 on a scale of 1 (hardest) to 10 (easiest).
