Comparison
Moving on to the comparisons, you'll see the QcK Edge next to three other mouse pads. The first one is the QcK Limited; a very smooth-surfaced mouse pad, it is also manufactured by SteelSeries. The second one is a Dream Machines DM Pad XL, which I've always said has a very QcK-like surface. Lastly, you can see it in comparison to a Huado mouse pad I've ordered off AliExpress a year ago, and it has been my main mousing surface ever since.

QcK Edge vs. Huado
As the pictures show, the Limited has a much denser weave than the standard QcK. As for the DM Pad, it's very similar, but with smaller, less defined holes between the weave—their touch is almost exactly the same, though. Lastly, the Huado, is somewhere between these two; it's way smoother than the QcK (and noticeably slower, too), but not as smooth as the Limited.
Build Quality
I could find no issues with the build quality of the QcK Edge and Heavy mouse pads. The Edge had some threads sticking out of the stitching, which I really can't call a deal breaker. This happens with edge-locked mouse pads, and it doesn't seem to affect performance in any way most of the time, although it can be displeasing aesthetically.
