I combined the four Gigabit Ethernet ports to achieve the highest possible network transfer speeds.
Performance with multiple clients is satisfactory. That said, it would be much better if this NAS had a 10 Gbit port. Unfortunately, Synology didn't send me the optional 10 Gbit PCIe card to try out.
While CPU utilization is at normal levels, RAM utilization is pretty high. In comparison, the DS920+ didn't even exceed 20% RAM utilization with six clients.
