We perform RAID sync operations during which we measure the time the NAS needs to complete these tasks; average power consumption for these rebuild and synchronization periods is also measured. In NAS servers with four bays or more, we rebuild and sync RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 6 arrays, while in smaller two-bay NAS servers, we are confined to a RAID 1 array. The Bitmap option is disabled in NAS servers that support it to produce comparable results since it speeds up RAID rebuild times.| Synology DS918+ | ||
