Signal Quality

We currently have multiple Ring products deployed (2x Video Doorbell 2, 1x Video Doorbell Pro, 3x Floodlight Cam, 1x Ring Chime Pro, and 2x Ring Chime), with the majority of them being connected to the mesh network. Since all of these feature a comprehensive health report that includes the WiFi signal's quality, we can directly compare the previous installation of the ASUS mesh network with the current one that uses Synology products. All aforementioned products use the 2.4 GHz band only, but this is the one with the longer range.



In the 2.4 GHz band, the Synology mesh network clearly offers higher signal quality than the ASUS mesh network.
