Team Group is a powerhouse in the high performance memory market. They have a wide variety of designs and consistently deliver solid build quality. With all the hype and drive towards putting more RGB LEDs in more places, it is good to see that the T-Force brand has not excluded the section of the enthusiast community that adamantly avoids the trend. Additionally, the simple, very low profile of just 32 mm lends the T-Force Vulcan Z to SFF builds, or builds that need good cooler clearance.

Looks aside, the T-Force Vulcan Z 3200 MHz performed well, exactly how I would expect it to for its specifications. On top of that, the T-Force Vulcan Z proved to have a fair amount of overclocking headroom, reaching 3733 MHz stable with my ASRock Z390 Phantom Gaming 7 and Intel Core i9-9900K combo.

At around US$70, the T-Force Vulcan Z is about as affordable as any kit on the market with these specifications. While I am personally pretty fond of the trend towards flashy RGB LED components, I understand the appeal of simplicity and minimalism. If you have been frustrated with the proliferation of RGB LEDs into the hardware market or are looking for a low profile, cost effective memory kit, the T-Force Vulcan Z is a great choice.
