The chair's sides often give away the manufacturing quality, while providing several hints on whether the manufacturer has paid attention to the details when designing the chair. The bolts that secure the backrest to the seat have plastic covers, which is a nice detail, and the entire upholstery is immaculate, which also goes for the chair's black stitching of the mesh area. Not only does the mesh material make for a luxurious touch feel and look, but it has other interesting features. For starters, it is breathable, which means sweat-related issues are a thing of the past. Additionally, that annoying sound produced by rubbing up against a PU upholstery is also not going to occur. Lastly, a quality mesh will last forever. That having been said, it does feel peculiar, especially to naked skin, though this mesh material is very tightly knit and incorporates patterns.


The combination of cold cure foam and mesh makes for a firm feel that better suits large users. Also, if you own a pet, try to keep it from sitting on the chair because removing fur from such a mesh upholstery is going to be tricky.


Both the chair's frame and padding are capable of welcoming a big user. The cold cure foam covers the metal frame well enough while offering a soft firmness that is comfortable for multiple hours at a time. Due to the chair's raised edges, a user will maintain an upright position, which ultimately is the optimal body posture, especially for people who will use the chair for several hours at a time. However, the area you can sit on is curtailed considerably by the contoured edges and lumbar-support cushion.


The five-star base is hollow underneath, with one metal plate at the center of every point. Made out of steel, its construction is durable. The casters are steady and roll on demand on flat surfaces, while their movement is slightly harder on thick carpets.


The two provided cushions are stuffed with polyester fiberfill and feel firm. They are not as soft as a pillow filled with memory foam, though. The design and firmness of the lumbar-support pillow pushes the pelvis area away from the backrest. Take into account the size of the backrest and the lumbar-support cushions and you will find that the sitting area is curtailed by a total of 16 cm (6.29 in.), which is considerable. The good thing is that the lumbar-support cushion can be removed because it has a safety buckle that holds it in place.


The lever situated on the seat's right side is kind of small but grippy, and the multi-use lever under the seat is also handy because it can be used for multiple adjustments. Lastly, the rocking mechanism and other ergonomic features function well.


Given the chair's overall build, the maximum weight limit could be increased, and the same goes for the one-year warranty, which is two years long by law in the EU.
