Packaging

The N4100 Pro comes in a compact box, not much larger than the bare minimum in size. Apart from that it's just a normal box with a name and some features listed in various languages.

There is a small amount of power Styrofoam and between it is a small plastic bag with a setup guide, some screws, keys, CD and a cable. All relevant items, no extra junk you end up throwing away or just losing.

The unit

The N4100 Pro has a sleek design and doesn't take up much space. The four hard drive bays are hidden behind a door.

The front contains a power button, USB port and some leds. Additionally there is a status display with some buttons. Unfortunately nothing can be configured this way. The enter button also functions as a USB copy button which copies data from USB storage to internal storage.

On the back are all important connectors. The power supply is internal without noticeably increasing the size of the N4100 Pro, something I personally like. There are two network connectors and two USB connectors. Usable for storage devices or printers.
