Value and Conclusion

  • The Thermaltake Divider 200 TG should sell for $139.99 pre-tax in the US due to tariffs, but you should find it around 20% cheaper in the rest of the world.
  • Cool cube design
  • Incorporates unique split design of the series well
  • Plenty of clean, clear glass panels
  • Massive 200 mm fan in front
  • All five side panels may be removed
  • Loads of cable-management possibilities
  • Easily mounts 280 mm radiator on side
  • Massive air cooling will fit easily as well
  • Lots of room for long GPU and potent PSU
  • Can hold up to six hard drives
  • Price premium for the cube case within the Divider series
  • No ARGB fan in the front, unlike all other Divider cases with glass fronts
  • Mounting for motherboard could cause shorts
  • Layout is not the most efficient on your desktop
  • Dust filter on underside a bit difficult to get to
The Thermaltake Divider 200 TG clearly looks like a case belonging to the series. Its numbering scheme also makes sense as it is lower than the Divider 300, which allows for a full ATX board as opposed to mATX in the Divider 200. But aside from looks, this case is otherwise fundamentally different.

The most obvious difference is the lack of an ARGB fan in front. While Thermaltake employs three ARGB fans in both the Divider 300 TG and Divider 500 TG, the 200 TG just comes with a plain black variant and thus no ARGB controller. That makes little sense since Thermaltake is one of the few brands that actually offers a 200 mm ARGB fan separately. In fact, it is the exact same unit as within the chassis, but with hub-mounted lighting, so there is no reason to omit it.

Beside that, the Divider 200 TG obviously departs from the classic mini-tower form factor, instead going for a stacked, horizontal layout resulting in the cubic shape of the case. This makes it rather unique and different, which in turn makes it more attractive if you would rather not go with the flow. It also allows you to really show off your hardware nicely because of the top glass panel, even if the whole setup will take up more space on your desk in terms of width.

While Thermaltake initially aimed for a $109 price tag, you should expect to see the Divider 200 TG go for $139.99 in the US due to tariffs, at the time of review. That makes the chassis just around $10 cheaper than what the Divider 300 TG ARGB currently retails for, which comes with three ARGB fans in the front, but lacks that "wow" factor the cube shape and 200 mm fan the Divider 200 TG provide.
