Luxa2 tried a lot of things with the GroovyA. Unfortunately, the GroovyA fails to find its groove as many of its features come with major drawbacks. The angle-adjustment feature is good, but since you have a device on top that is sensitive to vibrations, it is not the best idea as it degrades the sound quality at slightly elevate volume levels. The feature does work in terms of improving sound projection, but the vibrations make it a bad idea.

The aluminum base frame also makes placing the unit firmly onto uneven surfaces hard as it is sensitive to bumps; higher rubber feet or a reduction in surface area would help.

Interestingly enough, this is the first unit with physical backward and forward buttons that are easy to access and operate. In terms of usability, the GroovyA has some mojo, but the sound quality is unfortunately not up to a lot.
