In an effort to keep the thermal load under control, the fan-speed profile is tuned aggressively at high operating temperatures.
Noise and Fan Speed (~30 °C)
Even with normal temperatures, fan speed is high. Loads above 300 W have it sit in the 40–45 dBA range, so this PSU will be difficult to tolerate if you are sensitive to noise.
