Out of the box, the chassis makes a pretty massive impression, and not just because of its sheer size, but also due to the two big fans, ample detail, and glass panels. Thermaltake has done an excellent job with the white variant of the View 51 TG, with the front fans also being completely white—no black frames here.

In the front, you can clearly see the two 200 mm units. The only black element is the Thermaltake logo. As the enclosure is so wide you have two internal compartments side by side, all the front I/O comfortably fits into the solid strip to the right of the glass panel. It consists of a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, two USB 3.0, and two USB 2.0 ports alongside the usual audio connectivity. There is a reset button that may be used to control the LEDs inside the chassis if you like, while the sliced off corner up top holds the large power button and its LED.

Looking at the rear, you can clearly see that the motherboard is meant to be housed in one compartment, while the PSU and HDD storage are placed in the slimmer compartment.

The main side of the Thermaltake View 51 TG Snow ARGB does its name absolute justice as it is completely clear for an unobstructed view into the the case itself. The door is secured by a black knob and comes with hinges, so you may swing it open at any time. On the other side is a metal panel with two air vents—each with a black, magnetic dust filter on the interior.

Taking a closer look, the PSU bay on the bottom comes with two sets of mounting holes, so you may install your PSU any way you like. To the right of that are the eight expansion slots, which are reusable and come mounted on a detachable frame, allowing you to rotate them 90 degrees for vertical GPU mounting. Above that is a cover which hides two 3.5" drive bays, and a white 120 mm fan is set to push air out the back of the View 51 TG Snow ARGB.

Thermaltake has placed another clear glass panel on the top of the chassis, which brings the total of such panels to three. You may remove it easily to reveal a mounting bracket for a radiator of up to 360 mm. If you want to go for fans instead, it will fit three 120 or 140 mm units or two 200 mm fans. Due to the possibility for three 140 mm fans, I would say it is not an impossibility to squeeze a 420 mm radiator into this spot either, but take that with a grain of salt because it is not mentioned in the official specifications. That frame may be removed to clear way for access to the interior from the top of the case, which could come in handy during assembly.

Last but not least, there is a removable dust filter on the underside, which you may pull out through the back for easy cleaning.
