Vizo has included a CD, which holds the software needed to utilize the backup function of the Uranus. Some companies include very cut down and basic software, but Vizo has chosen PCCLone EX from FNet. This piece of software is quite solid and easy to use.

After the installation, PCClone EX starts automatically. A little splash screen with a progress bar is shown, before the program appears in the system tray.


As you can see, it is quite easy to use. The first tab holds two quick tasks. One is a system wide backup function, while the other only secures specific files and folders. The other two tabs do the exact same thing, but give the user more options to customize the backups. The last two tabs not shown here are filled with settings. The software also offers a verify option, which is a great way of making sure that the backup is valid.
