Overclocking

To find the maximum overclock of our card we used a combination of Rivatuner, ATITool and our benchmarking suite.



The final overclocks of our card are 756 MHz Core (26 % overclock) and 1102 MHz Memory (22 % overclock). Both overclocks are very impressive, I was genuinely surprised by the memory overclock. Usually the more memory chips you have the lower your overclocking potential. With the VVIKOO 8800 GT Max 1024 MB this is not the case, over 1100 MHz is actually the highest memory overclock we saw in all our GeForce 8800 GT testing.

Temperatures

Thanks to the Zalman cooler the temperatures are very low. Even with overclocking the card stays at a comfortable 53° C.
