Introduction

XPG Logo

Intel NUC branding isn't something new. It's been around for a while now, but not many of us will think of laptops alongside that branding. We tend to think of small, compact compute devices. I hope we can change that. What we have here today is an Intel NUC device, co-designed with XPG. An Intel NUC laptop device. A laptop is still a compact compute device, and who better than Intel for XPG to collaborate with for an Intel-based NUC laptop?

XPG is known for their PC-enthusiast focused products, primarily memory and drives for many of us, but they make PCs and laptops and a host of other PC devices too, some of which have been on these pages before. Through years of expertise, they've honed their brand into one that carries global recognition not only in the gaming space, but elsewhere. Their creed is boldly proclaimed on their site:
Defined by Ambition

In the world of gaming, borders are blurred and identities are fluid. We believe the future of gaming is defined by ambition. We innovate to help our gamers become legendary.

To make sure the XPG Xenia 15 KC is legendary, they've paired it with some of their best DRAM and drives so that the limits you might encounter are small to none.
Co-Designed with Intel for optimal performance, the new XPG XENIA 15 delivers the latest Intel i7 11800H & NVIDIA RTX 3070 along with a slew of features to enhance every aspect of the user experience. The award winning XPG Gammix S70 SSD and handpicked high performance XPG memory perfectly complement the top of the line CPU and GPU to reach blistering speeds. Don't just watch but experience every frame sharper and faster through the high definition QHD 165 Hz display paired with an immersive audio solution, tuned by the masters of audio at Sound Research. All of this is packed in a thin 20.5 mm Magnesium alloy chassis to guarantee rock solid build quality with a total weight of less than 2 kilograms.
When XPG says they want to enhance every aspect of the user experience, I raise my eyebrows. Really? What about taking the back off? Yeah, they thought about that too. "Bigger. Better. Faster." That's what XPG says, and it applies. Really. You might be shocked by this one.
