XPG Xenia 15 KC Review

A look Inside

Cracking open the XPG Xenia 15 KC reveals the inside of the magnesium alloy shell. The back aids in cooling some of the power bits and installed SSDs, and has thermal pads to that purpose.

There's more to the back then just that, though. There are foam pads around where the speakers are to make the sound that much better. The chipset is boring with no cooling at all.

There are two fans here, each slightly different. I actually failed to tell the sound one of them makes, which was a pleasant surprise. Just a faint "whoosh" of the air it moves is all that is heard. The other fan does make a little noise, but it is minimal.

ADATA-branded memory is installed, of course. We also found an ADATA Gammix S70 SSD.

The Wi-Fi card is easily accessible too, and an Intel-branded part.
