The Yeyian Mirage X is clearly a full tower case and by clocking in at just over $150, it should not be considered affordable on paper. But, once you consider the material mix and elements of custom tooling, the case provides the lowest barrier of entry if you want a truly unique front panel made of thick glass pieces. The only other case that provides this type of experience also offers a lot more details and features but clocks in at $500. So in car terms, the Yeyian Mirage X offers something unique in a $40,000 vehicle that is usually only found in a $120.000 sports car. It may not have all the bells and whistles, but it has that USP - and that is pretty awesome.
There isn't really anything to criticize that would move the needle on the case itself. There are a few little tidbits that feel a little bit out of place for a case that really tries to be unique, like the blue USB-A ports, lack of thumb screws in some areas or grommets. Those are small details that one would expect to see when looking at this case from the exterior - mostly because the Mirage X just manages to hold its own against those more expensive options out there, which then go into all these details.
That simply means that the Yeyian Mirage X is a very cool full tower case with a crystal clear USP. Yes, you could get a different full-tower case with fans or additional features for that price, but not with that unique design element. These looks are not something you could upgrade to later, but fans can easily be sourced.
To conclude, the innovative Yeyian Mirage X deserves a clear recommendation.
